Two unfaithful couples become entangled when Aurora discovers her husband Francis is also having an affair and plots with her own lover, David, to steal Francis’s diamond necklace. What begins as a scheme aboard a sailboat spirals into suspicion, violence, and a fatal accident when David is caught stealing from Francis. Back on shore, Aurora realizes she has been discarded by David too, and turns their web of betrayal into a murder report.
